Twitter can be used by students all around the world to keep up with the latest news. Twitter has a great feature called the hashtag (#) which you can put at the end of your tweet and show the people what you wanted to show them came from. People can really use twitter for a lot of education purposes.

If I become very successful at my future job and earn a lot of money, I will donate a lot of my money to a homeless foundation. If i could do something to help the world, i would do that.

• This is Google Glass
• Comes out for the people sometime in 2014
• It is a wearable computer.
• Google Glass has the ability to take photos and record 720p HD video. While video is recording, the screen stays on.
• A touchpad is located on the side of Google Glass, allowing users to control the device by swiping through a timeline-like interface displayed on the screen. 
• Price is still unknown.

The typhoon in the Philippines was devastating not only for the people there, but for everyone all around the world. People have family living there and since the death toll is over 10,000 lots of families have been destroyed. The people over there have lost homes, property, and part of themselves. People will be shocked for many months too come. My prayers go out to all the people there and hope that The Philippines gets rebuilt very soon.

1. What are the benefits of using a wiki?

• ease in creating web-based content, especially by those who have no technical expertise
• elimination of e-mail threads among groups to communicate or to obtain information
• ability to complete real-time updates of web-based content (without waiting for the technical support team to update your web server files)
• avoiding transfer of document attachments to a distribution list through your e-mail system
• enabling the ability to always access current information (eliminating problems by referencing outdated documents or attachments that you previously receive.

• We can all think of ideas and utilize it for our benefits.

• I use Wikipedia a lot so i have a decent knowledge about wikis.

   If i was invisible for 1 day I would help stop crime. I would be able to follow criminals to their lair and stop all evil plots they have planned. if they cant go forward with their plans the world would be a better place. If the world was a better place, there would be less crime to stop.

    All in all, the world would be so much better if crime was stopped. Crime would probably severely reduced in that area. I would be like a superhero and the world would be better.

Wood Shop

        My class of choice would be wood shop. It would be a great class to learn craftsmanship and how to handle projects well with delicate stuff such as wood. It would be held after school as a club or something, because it is a class that really doesn't  have value to your life so it would be more as a fun class rather then it interfere with important classes. 

        Wood class would feel like a class that you can get to socialize with friends and have fun while building projects and sculpting. it would basically be an art class but only working with wood. It would be a class that many people would probably enjoy and sign up for that club.

• Supposed to "replace" all other electronics used for entertainment.
• Costs $499 100 more than Playstation 4
• Alot of people want to switch to the PS4 because of so many rules and regulation
• Has a few cool games but not as much as the PS4

English 1

    My teacher for English 1 is Ms. Hunter. Even if I really don't like reading it seems like I will enjoy that class. Ms. Hunter seems like the type of teacher that doesn't get easily annoyed and really enjoys teaching people. I really don't like reading as I said, but i really believe Ms. Hunter will get me to enjoy reading. Reading is knowledge for the power and if i get much better at it I will succeed. She seems like the teacher that takes her time on her lessons and no matter what questions her students ask she will find out the answer.

    English is also one of my favorite classes because of her. In my old school I hated English. Here though it seems that English class will be an exciting and interesting course. Ms. Hunter will end up giving a lot of reading assignments but each time I finish reading a book my reading skills will improve.
 
     English right now is probably my favorite class but for right now i need to improve on my reading skills if I ever want to pass that class. Ms. Hunter's teaching ways will hopefully make me succeed in this class, but for right now i need to improve. What i most expect of this class is lots of reading and lots of improvement. I will use technology in this class by using the computer to research the book I'm reading or research future books most likely.

• It is 1/8 the size of the previous Mac Pro!
• Cylindrical design. 
• Wifi 802.11ac which is the newest type of Wifi to date.
• Bluetooth 4.0 
• Comes out later this year.
• Looks amazing.

Waddup people,

          My name is Hector Obando. I am currently residing in Moonachie, but I go to school at Wood-Ridge Jr/Sr High School. I am also a freshman. My interests are playing sports, mostly basketball, hanging out with friends, and going on vacations. What i really don't like are essays. Essays for me take a little part of my soul away every time I write one. I live with my mom, my older brother, and my pet Chocolate Labrador. In order of classes I take Gym, World History, Biology, Italian, English, Web 2.0, and Geomerty. I am a chill and helpful person that likes making new friends. That's basically the most basic stuff about me!
